A GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS
Tibet, circa 16th century
The Buddha of Longevity seated in dhyanasana and
attired in princely raiment crisply incised in lotus scroll
hems and a diadem inlaid in turquoise and red-hued semi-
precious cabochons, holding the kalasha of amrita, all
raised upon a double layer lotus petal band plinth.
