A CELADON JADE BRUSH WASHER
19th century
The brush washer of rectangular, quadrilobed form, raised on four
curving, cloud-shaped feet, with two handles carved in the shape of
archaistic animal heads supported by scroll work, the exterior with
realistic scene in low relief depicting quails among reeds and waves,
the square, projecting lip with a key-fret border, with a conforming
wooden stand.
