17TH/18TH CENTURY
the rounded shaped toprail above an S-curved backsplat and
supported on rounded slender stiles extending down to the
back legs, the curved arms projecting beyond the front posts
set back from the corners of the rectangular frame enclosing
the mat seat, all above plain beaded apron and spandrels to
the front and side, the legs joined by stretchers and a footrest
with apron
120 by 61 by 60 cm, 47¼ by 24 by 23¾ in.
