外匣：
吳昌碩先生菜根香真蹟。丙寅（1926）仲夏，王傳燾題。

款識：
葉根長咬堅齒牙，脫粟飯勝仙胡麻。閒庭養得秋樹綠，坐攤卷軸根
橫長。讀書讀書仰林屋，面無菜色願亦足。眼前不少愷與崇，杯鑄
黃金糜煮肉。庚申（1920）秋仲，安吉吳昌碩時年七十又七。

註：王傳燾（1903-1978），字季眉，王一亭季子。畫承家學，缶
翁曾讚其「畫有父風，莽蒼可喜」。
