A LARGE MING WHITE-GLAZED BOWL
HONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A
DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1488-1505)
The bowl is thinly potted with deep rounded sides rising to a
slightly flaring mouth rim, supported on a low tapered foot ring.
The interior and exterior are covered with a transparent glaze, the
underside of the base bearing the reign mark in underglaze-blue.
