attired in typical monks robes holding his hands in a variant of the

TWO ARCHAISTIC CLOISONNÉ CENSERS 8 1/2in (21.5cm) high
The first, of handled bombé form raised upon three beast head legs
and surmounted by a domical lid of reticulated gilt bat and smoke US$1,500 - 2,500
patterns beneath a lion dog finial; the second, of compressed globular
form raised upon three tall tapered cylindrical legs and surmounted by PROPERTY FROM THE COLLECTION OF EMMANUEL GRAN,
a waisted neck and tall vertical handles, the exteriors covered in vine BY DESCENT
and lotus patterns.

The fitted halves closing to form irregularly ovoid birds depicted
recumbent on small gilt feet, the exterior surfaces covered in stylized US$2,500 - 4,000
plumage and archaistic scrolling motifs on a turquoise ground.

A GROUP OF CLOISONNÉ ENAMELED METAL VESSELS
Including a pair of miniature ginger jars covered in the mille-fleur
decoration; a square gu-form vase covered in yellow ground archaistic
patterns and a globular five spout ‘tulip vase’ covered in yellow ground
vine and lotus motifs; and a globular stick neck vase and an alms
bowl, both covered in tight gilt spirals on a black ground.
