A ROBIN’S EGG BLUE VASE WITH WHITE OVERLAY
DECORATION
Late Qing/Republic period
Molded with a flared rim to the trumpet neck, an angular join between
the shoulder and body which tapers sharply inwards to the tall foot,
the exterior overlaid in white with a bird flying downwards toward a
prunus tree in bloom against the mottled blue ground and colorless
glaze also covering the interior neck and recessed base stamped
China in red pigment.
