Fashioned as a silver octopus with gilt-inlaid eyes perched on top of a  9011

small seashells inlaid in gold, all supported on swirling waves cast in  Meiji/Taisho era
silver and forming a natural himotoshi (some oxidation).                 The first of tubular shape, the textured iron surface inlaid with a mixed-
