 BOTTLE ‘DRAGON’ VASE
 QING DYNASTY, YUZHI MARK AND PERIOD OF
 QIANLONG
 with a flattened ovoid body and a broad tubular neck, carved
 in high relief with a dragon coiling chasing a pearl, one side
 inscribed with an Imperial poem, the stone of an even white
 colour with light occasional ‘mutton fat’ mottling, wood stand

 The poem can be dated to between  18 March – 15 May,1749.   綠鳯因風韶濩鏗
 It is the second of two poems entitled “Little Paintings by   氷雪雅懐深契處
 Dong Bangda 董邦達 [1696-1769]”. Dong’s painting album
 is recorded in the imperial painting catalogue Shiqu baoji   介然静復灑然清
