A Dehua seated figure of Manjusri
20th century
The compassionate crowned deity engaged in deep meditation and
seated dhyanasana on a double lotus pedestal saddle supported by a
robust caparisoned lion gazing upward in adoration at his companion,
the muscular animal elegantly coiffed with stylized curls on his legs
and beard, adorned with a bell and tassel collar and trailing sashes.

A Dehua figure of a standing Buddha
18th century
The solid figure standing on a lotus pedestal base, with eyes
downcast and framed by tightly knotted curls surrounding a
raised ushnisha, his full figured body dressed in a long dhoti with
generous folds extending over his broad shoulders and trailing
behind him over the base.

A Dehua white glazed porcelain seated Guanyin
Lin Xiaozong seal mark, 18th/19th century
Seated lalitasana with one arm resting on a lion-mask arm chair and
holding a ruyi scepter, a lingzhi pendant centered beaded necklace
adorning her bare chest draped with long robes cascading around her
full body and set off by plaited locks falling from a high chignon.
