Yang Shanshen (1913-2004)
An album of Figure and Landscape paintings, 1986
Ten double-leaves mounted on an album, ink and color on paper, four leaves dated bingyin
(1986), four leaves inscribed and each leaf signed Shanshen with thirteen artist’s seals reading
Yang [4], Shanshen [6], and qishi sui hou zuo [3] and two collector’s seals; preceded by a
double-leaf inscription in ink, dedicated to Shaolin, dated bingyin (1986) and signed Shanshen
with one artist’s seal reading Yang and one collector’s seal, a preface in ink dated renchen
(2012) with two seals reading Chen Bingguang, followed by a colophon dated renchen,
signed with one seal; on the cloth cover a title slip reading bingyin shan shui ren wu ji, signed
Shanshen with one artist’s seal reading Shanshen.
