題識：
自序： 《書》曰：詩言志，歌永言。夫人喜怒哀樂之蘊於中者，必言辭以發之，文章以濟
之，於是乎有賡載之歌，風雅之篇，可以觀德，可以觀政。風雅之變，起於東周，屈
宋《離騷》，逮及兩漢，雖制作不同，體風屢變，其取於比興之義一也。惟聖人為能
窮理以盡性，觀萬物之時而履乎中，故泰然而恒樂。其不至聖人者，志違於所遇，道
屯於所行，覽萬物之變，以發其鬱陶悱惻，故戚然而恒憂。聖者之樂生於性，愚者之
憂生於情。性可以克己而歸於仁，情則徇物求欲，放恣而無不之焉。至於寄託言志，
比象賦事，體物之微，抽思之密，至唐而已備矣。間嘗竊選唐五律佳句，從類比次，
使後之學者有所津逯焉。壬辰（1952年）夏六月，西山逸士溥儒書。
