A PARCEL-GILT AND SILVER-INLAID BRONZE CENSER
MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY

The body is cast with taotie masks on geometric grounds between dragon-head loop
handles. The waisted neck and foot are decorated with key-fret between gilt bands.
The base is incised with the six-character mark, Yunjian Hu Wenming zhi, ‘Made by
Hu Wenming of Yunjian’.
