A WHITE JADE ‘DRAGON’ TWIN-HANDLED CENSER AND COVER
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The exterior of the censer and cover are carved with archaistic taotie masks, with the
handles shaped as phoenixes, all supported on three animal-form feet. The cover is
surmounted by a coiled dragon. The stone is of a pale tone.
