A CARVED AND INSCRIBED YELLOW
JADE PLAQUE
18TH CENTURY
One side of the plaque is carved with
a boy in a landscape scene. The other
side is inscribed with the characters
sheng sheng bao xi, conveying auspicious
wishes. The stone is of an even pale
greenish yellow tone.
