A GILT COPPER ALLOY TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER
18th/19th century
The hexalobed body rising to a short straight neck and everted rim,
each lobe decorated with quartrefoil cartouches with auspicious
flowers, birds, and fu dog in high relief against dotted ground, flanked
by a pair of mythical head handles, the rim incised with leaf scroll,
supported on three stout legs, the cover pierced with floral scrolls and
mounted with a bead.
