PROPERTY OF A NORDIC GENTLEMAN (LOTS 321 -322)
These cabinets are from the estate of a Nordic Gentleman. They were
acquired in Beijing in the 1950s, when he served as an oficial at a Nordic
Embassy. Following the trend of many Western diplomats stationed in
Beijing at the time, he started to collect Chinese works of art to furnish his
family home.
