A Longquan celadon tripod censer
Yuan dynasty
The compressed globular body raised on three feet molded as
fantastic animal heads, a cash-patterned diaper roundel impressed
to the floor of the well and also carved into the curving exterior walls
above a recessed band applied with prunus-shaped bosses, the gray-
green glaze covering most surfaces except a cinnamon-burnt circle
at the floor of the well and across the circular ridge of fabric extruding
from the base, the glaze on the underside incised with the characters
Hong Nongbo zhi.

A Longquan celadon deep dish
14th/15th century
Thickly potted with a raised edge to the foliate rim and slightly
recessed ribs along the curving interior and exterior walls, the floor of
the well stamped with an indistinct roundel within an incised double
band, the olive green glaze covering all surfaces except for a russet-
burnt ring on the recessed base also etched in Arabic with the name
of an owner partially reading Ravy.

A Longquan celadon deep dish
14th/15th century
Thickly molded with a raised outer edge to the rim, a band of vertical
lines cursorily carved into the curving walls to surround a circular
peony roundel impressed to the center of the well, the exterior walls
smoothly finished and all surfaces except a cinnamon-burnt firing ring
on the recessed base covered with an olive green glaze.
