VERTE FIGURE, KANGXI
China, 1661-1722. Humorous depiction of a boy carrying a smaller
child on his back, both with gleeful expressions on their faces, the
larger figure wearing a necklace and robes enameled with floral
sprays, a rank badge and crane roundels.
Condition: Old restoration to neck of small child. Besides that,
fine condition with some wear and traces of use, few tiny nibbles
to base.
