                           ‘CHILONG’ SNUFF BOTTLE, QING
 China, 18th - 19th century. The deep rounded sides rising from a short, massive
 foot rim to an everted lip, the translucent glass of a vibrant dusky pink tone.  China, 1750-1850, possibly imperial Beijing glass workshops.
                     Flattened globular shape with cylindrical neck an oval recessed
                     foot. Sapphire-blue overlay on translucent snowflake-ground glass
 Condition: Perfect condition with only minor wear, mostly to base.   showing finely incised chilong on the sides and mock ring handles.
 Provenance: Canadian private collection.
 Weight: 203.8 g.    Condition: Small chipping and losses throughout.

 GLASS ‘LOTUS’ VASE, QING
 China, 1644-1912. The vase with a ruby red overlay on opaque white glass,
 carved and incised with blossoming lotus.


 Condition: The cover is missing, otherwise in good condition with minor wear
 and nibbles here and there.

                                                                  a cylindrical neck and an oval recessed foot. The sapphire-blue
                                                                  overlay on opaque white glass shows a double-gourd (“hulu” in
                                                                  Chinese) with vines and leaves on both sides.

 Dimensions: Height incl. stopper 90 mm. Diameter neck 21 mm and mouth 7 mm.  overlay in emerald green, lemon yellow, ruby red, sapphire blue and
                     pale pink. Carved en miniature to depict several bats among clouds,

 China, 1644-1912. The bottle is of a flattened ovoid shape with a flared neck and an oval
