The thick cylindrical sides naturalistically branches bearing blossoms and buds. The Kangxi
carved in relief with a continuous scene of large size suggests it may have been used Deftly carved around the exterior with a
blooming and budding magnolias, curling for containting scrolls. Compare a related but continuous scene of children, one child playing
branches and leafy sprigs, the rim lobed smaller zitan brush pot, by Wen Fu, late Ming on a hobby horse preceded by two carrying
