A RARE SMALL YUEYAO ‘LOTUS-BUD’ JAR AND COVER
Five Dynasties
The ovoid body raising to a high angled shoulder applied with three
loop handles, moulded to the exterior with overlapping lotus petals,
all under a thin glaze of pale olive-green tone, the flat cover similarly
shaped with overlapping petals centred on a finial in the form of a
curling bud, fitted box.
