PROVENANCE
Private collection of the late Mr. Will Barnet (1911-2012), acquired
1960s, by repute.
The late Will Barnet was an American artist known for his paintings,
watercolors, drawings, and prints. In 1936, he became the o cial
printer for the Art Students’ League. A longtime resident of the
National Arts Club, Mr. Barnet died in New York City on November 13,
2012, at the age of 101.
