previously horizontal, bedchamber greater dimensionality.
This painting is from a dispersed Ragamala series, once in the great
collection of Sangram Singh of Jaipur. It illustrates Lalita Ragini, a morning Provenance
melody, whose mood is of the pain of love-in-separation (vipralambha). Collection of Sangram Singh, Jaipur
