Europe, mid-19th century
The large vessel finely enamelled to the
exterior with a densely flowering garden, with
scholar’s objects resting on rockwork, the
interior mouth rim with an elaborate cloud
collar band with diaper and further floral
motifs, with an elaborate gilt-bronze and
rosewood stand, dated by inscription to 1856.
