A RARE MINIATURE HUANGHUALI TWO-
TIERED PICNIC BOX, TIHE
17th/18th century
The box gracefully proportioned, comprising a cover
and two deep trays set on a base frame supporting
a rectangular handle flanked on the sides by
standing spandrels, the handle and frame reinforced
with metal mounts. 18cm (7in) long x 13.5cm
(5 1/2in) high x 11.5cm (4 1/2in) deep.
