Each similarly potted with a body of inverted pear form supporting 19th/20th century
a trumpet neck, flared rim, the applied copper red glaze of varied Seated leisurely holding his cloth sack in the right hand, while
shades stopping along the lower body and leaving exposed holding a whisker in his left, dressed in layered garments with his
fabric, the deeply recessed base bearing the six-character mark in chest exposed, the back bearing two impressed marks, one reads
underglaze blue regular script (some with small chips at rims). He Chaozong yin in a square, and the other reads Dehua in double-

Jingdezhen taoci yanjiusuo 1960 nian (tiny glaze chip). 18th/19th century
10in (25.5cm) high Sturdily potted with tapering sides rising to a high shoulder, waisted
neck and bulbous garlic mouth, the scarlet red glaze showing
US$1,200 - 1,800 patches of pale blue on the interior of the neck and burnt a pale rust
brown on the recessed base (base drilled).
