The chased silver front with foliate scrolls and applied gilt plaques of
the ashtamangala and a kirtimukha that surround an ogival opening 9006
with loose glass fronting a gray clay tsatsa molded with seated A COPPER ALLOY VAJRA
divinities around a stupa placed on top of other material within the Tibet, 15th/16th century
case. Of standard shape consisting of a central shaft encircled by four
5 7/8in (14.8cm) high makara head prongs blooming from opposing lotus petal bases
separated by a globular nodule (possible re-soldering).
