JIAJING SIX CHARACTER MARK IN IRON
RED WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF
THE PERIOD (1522-1566)
The bowl is decorated on the interior with an
immortal in the center enclosed by a frieze of
prunus, chrysanthemum and peacock feathers in
the well. The exterior is decorated with four ladies
with boys at play above a petal border encircling
the base.
