A FLAMBÉ-GLAZED 'POMEGRANATE’
VASE
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER INCISED SEAL
MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The hexalobed vase with conforming neck and
everted rim, is raised on a low spreading foot and
covered overall with a glaze of crushed strawberry-
red color streaked with purple and milky blue that
runs between the lobes. The rim and interior are
covered with a pale blue glaze.
