          QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
          The cover is decorated with interlocking squares
          enclosing colorful flower heads, which are
          repeated on the sides. The interiors are covered in
          a turquoise enamel and the base is gilded.

          CANDLESTICK
          KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
          The foreigner wears a buttoned vest decorated
          with dragons and is shown kneeling on a square
          stand. His head and right hand support the
          rectangular drip pan of the pricket candlestick.
