A CARVED PALE GREYISH-WHITE JADE
MOUNTAIN
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The vertical mountain is carved on both sides in
high relief with a continuous scene of eight horses
on a mountain path. The top section of one side is
further carved with a fruiting peach branch and
five bats in flight, and the reverse is carved with
pine and prunus trees. The semi-translucent stone
is of pale greyish-white tone.
