A MUGHAL-STYLE SPINACH-GREEN
JADE VASE AND COVER
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The vase is carved in low relief with a wide band
of confronted stylized chilong amidst scroll below
a narrow band of repeated leaf motifs. The neck
is flanked by two handles carved in openwork as
blossoms and suspending loose rings. The cover
is surmounted by a single blossom flanked by two
spreading leaves.
