A WHITE-OVERLAY PINK GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1770-1850
The bottle is carved through the milky-white overlay to the opaque
pink ground with the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang) tied with
ribbons.

The color combination of pink and white creates a dramatic
palette which would seem “like a marriage made in heaven for any
