The pear-shaped vase with subtly moulded Of archaic bronze form, the pear-shaped to pale cream at the rim and with creamy
peach-shaped cartouches to each side, body of rectangular section rising from a splashes and mottling to the interior. 25.5cm
raised on a straight foot rim and rising to a short foot to a quatrefoil rim, set at the (10in) diam.
tapering quatre-lobed mouth flanked with shoulders with a pair of square lug handles,
lug handles, all covered in a deep scarlet covered overall with a rich purplish red glaze £2,000 - 3,000
