A CARVED LAVENDER QUARTZ SNUFF BOTTLE
1850-1900
Of flattened, rectangular form with rounded shoulders, short
cylindrical neck and neatly carved oval foot rim, carved in low relief
to each side with an oval vignette with a leafy branch of ripe fruit, the
sides carved with mock mask ring handles, stopper.

Well hollowed, of flattened rectangular form, carved in relief to each
side with a vignette variously depicting birds perched on flowering
branches, the sides with simulated beast mask handles, the stone of
pale green tone, stopper.
