a boat to the obverse and a lady Immortal and her attendant to the
reverse, on a ground of iron-red floral meander, coral stopper with

A SUZHOU-TYPE AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE
18th/19th century
Well hollowed, and standing on a flat, oval foot, the flattened
ovoid bottle carved in shallow relief with a continuous scene of a
bearded sage receiving offerings from boys and foreigners within
a pine-strewn landscape, the black and brown inclusions cleverly
incorporated in the design, coral stopper with bone guard.
