           Each large rectangular panel taken from a ‘dragon’ robe, centered by   Late Qing dynasty/Republic period
           a sinuous five-clawed dragon woven in gold-wrapped thread chasing a  Constructed with a short collar, center front opening and side vents,
           flaming pearl amidst polychrome clouds, bats, and bajixiang, all above   the black satin embroidered in polychrome silk threads with ‘peacock
           roiling waves with a fish-dragon and auspicious emblems above a wide  and flower’ roundels, the hem and cuffs embroidered with waves and
           panel of lishui stripes, framed and glazed.       blossoms worked mostly in satin stitch, the interior lined with fur pelts.
