Indonesia, Central Java, 9th century
The rounded face with features of heavy
lidded eyes coveys a serene introspective
countenance. His hair is arranged with
a broad looping mukhta secured by a
graduation double jewelled crown bands and
a single leaf at the front and florets above the
ears, stand.
