                                                               Carved from marine ivory, the netsuke depicts a well-formed bell                                                                                                             Depicting the three friends of winter, the bamboo, pine and plum.

                                                                                                                                                                                               An unusually large amount of chestnuts (kuri), thirteen to be exact,
                                                                                                                                                                                               clustered together forming an ideally rounded netsuke. The patina
