TWO JADE CEREMONIAL BLADES
SHANG DYNASTY, CIRCA 17TH-11TH CENTURY BC
One blade is in the form of a ge dagger-axe with bevelled edges
and a medial ridge on both sides; the other blade is of rectangular
form with rounded corners, pierced with a hole near one end.
The ge blade: 10 º in. (26 cm.) long; the rectangular blade: 6 æ in.
