A FINE AND HIGHLY IMPORTANT FALANGCAI RUBY-GROUND
‘PRUNUS’ CUP
YONGZHENG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK IN BLUE ENAMEL AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The cup is delicately enamelled to the exterior in soft tones of yellow, green and sepia to
depict two bees hovering above a flowering branch bearing prunus blossoms, intertwined
with clusters of bamboo around the foot, all against a vivid ruby-red ground. The
interior and base are covered with a clear glaze. The countersunk base is inscribed with a
Yongzheng reign mark in blue enamel.

清雍正 琺瑯彩胭脂紅地梅竹紋酒圓 藍料四字宋體字款
敞口,深腹,圈足內收。外壁施琺瑯彩料,胭脂紅為地,近圈足處畫梅枝一株,隨盃形而生,上
繪兩隻小蜜蜂嗡嗡飛舞,枝頭梅花或含苞待放,或綻瓣盛開,枝底生矮竹幾叢。內壁平素無紋,
底書藍料「雍正年製」宋體字款。
