A DING-TYPE WHITE-GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED
VASE
12th/13th century
The elegant pear-shaped body rising from a short
splayed foot to a tall flaring neck with an everted rim,
covered overall with a smooth creamy white glaze
except the foot ring and base to reveal the white body,
calligraphic collector’s mark on the base, fitted box.
