The baluster body rising from a gently tapering base to a short neck, The hollow cylindrical body with ribs rising from a flat unglazed base,
decorated with blossoming lotus amidst scrolling stems, between the sides modelled with five ruyi-heads in openwork, decorated
double line borders, between a band of flowerheads and overlapping in around the exterior with birds perched on fruiting and flowering
plantain leaves, the base unglazed. branches, above floral sprays rising from a border of stylised waves,
31cm (12 2/8in) high. the mouth rim with the Eight Buddhist Emblems.
