as a gnarled trunk, the bright red and softer pink sections cleverly yet playfully carved on the exterior with two elegant ladies and four
preserved to form heavy peach fruits issuing from twisting leafy boys, variously scrambling to steal food from a platter and tugging at
branches and a shaft of bamboo and lingzhi fungus, wood stand. a sleeve and a sash, the cover formed with two dancing boys clasping
6 1/4in (15.8cm) high each other’s elbows, an inscription on the reverse, wood stand.
