Munich bowl would appear to date from around 1700,
it seems likely that, allowing for a lapse of some years
between its manufacture and its mounting in France, the
fleur-de-lys mark is the one used between 1717 and
1722. The silver mounts of the Getty Museum's bowl
may be given a similar date.
