The tusk carved in low relief, with a centipede crawling towards the Carved in high relief with a crawling spider, its legs undercut, with
narrow end, its body wrapping around all three facets of the tusk; details added in sumi (black ink); signed Nihon San’indo Sekiyo
unsigned. 12.2cm (4¾in). Enokawa Seiyodo Shi Tomiharu kyonen gojuyugosai shite kore o
chokoku toki ni Tenmei, hinoto hitsuji mutsuki juyuyokka nari (carved
