boxwood example carved with a motif of overlapping coins on QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
one side, a further carved coin and inscription on the reverse,
additional carving at the nial, signed Yong Quan (2) of circular form, the cover with layers of red, black, and brown
Longest 8⅜ in., 21.3 cm lacquer carved with a large chun (Spring) character centered

Kong. auspicious emblems and radiating waves, surrounded by
$ 1,000-1,500 scrolling orets and a diaper band, the sides with scrolling
peonies and keyfret units, all over ne diaper grounds, the
