beribboned ‘Eight Auspicious Emblems’ around the cavetto,
the exterior with three ower heads borne on undulating leafy
scrolls, the base with a six-character mark in iron red (2)

A Beijing collector, acquired in the 1940s.
Gifted in the 1970s to a Canadian missionary family in China,
and thence by descent.
