A CARVED JADE SQUARE-FORM CENSER
17th/18th century
In the shape of an archaic bronze ding, the side walls decorated with
taotie masks standing on four column supports decorated with vertical
lappets, with a dragon-like animal on one side turning its head back
toward a precious pearl supported by floating clouds.

A PAIR OF CARVED SPINACH JADE SCREENS
20th century
Each of the identical pair carved in high relief with figures in an
exuberant garden setting with a gazebo sheltered under trees rising
behind rocks surrounding a winding river, the upper corner carved
with two seated figures in conversation, while two scholars and their
attendants sitting or standing by a large table enjoying a civilized
leisure time, the lower section depicting a sage crossing a bridge
followed by his attendant, the reverse side inscribed with a four-line
poem heightened in gilt; each mounted to a wood frame reticulated
with leafy scrolls.

TWO SMALL CARVED JADE PLAQUES
Ming dynasty
Both of rectangular section of gray green color, the first reticulated and
finished to verso and recto to depict a deer amid vine and lotus scroll,
the second carved in relief to one side to depict a dragon amid clouds,
the reverse unpolished.
2 1/2 and 3in (6.4 and 7.8cm) wide (2).
